The CEO of the New Castle Community YMCA is responsible for establishing and implementing the mission, vision, goals, and values of the YMCA within the organization and the community.

The Successful Candidate Will Achieve Excellence in the Following Areas:
•    Continue Solid Operating Performance with a Focus on Advancing Fiscal Health, Membership & Programs Facility Management & Capital Improvements
•    Develop and Lead the Staff Team
•    Implement the Strategic Plan
•    Advocate the YMCA Vision Within the Community

LIFEGUARDS AND SWIM INSTRUCTORS
We are currently looking for lifeguards and swim instructors to join our team. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and have their lifeguard and first aid certification. For those interested in becoming certified, we do have Lifeguarding Course scheduled for Dec. 28-30. Must be available to work evenings and weekends, including Sunday mornings. Lifeguards will have an opportunity to be trained as a YMCA swim instructor.

MORNING WELLNESS ASSOCIATE
We are currently looking for an outgoing and motivating individual to work in the Wellness Center at the Downtown branch. Responsibilities include membership engagement as well as light cleaning and organizing. Work hours are Monday through Wednesday 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Must be energetic, reliable, and have a positive attitude. Download the full job description.

CHILD CARE – ASSISTANT TEACHER / AIDE
Currently seeking  a friendly and caring assistant teacher/aide to work part-time with children in our 4 Star Child Development Center. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, ages 12 months through 5 years of age. Morning or afternoon shifts are available. Benefits include a flexible schedule, free YMCA membership and discounted program and child care fees. Must have child abuse clearances.
