Y to Host Annual Thanksgiving Community Breakfast

November 10, 2011

NEW CASTLE, Pa., Nov. 10, 2011 – The New Castle Community YMCA will host a Thanksgiving Praise community breakfast at 8 a.m. Nov. 22. The event, which is open to the public, includes a full, complimentary breakfast, courtesy of Medure’s Catering, as well as an inspirational message and special music.

Pastor Jarod Mills, of Clifton Flat Alliance Church, is the guest speaker. Mills is a lifelong resident of New Castle. A 2005 graduate of Union Area High School, he went to Geneva College, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries, and a Master’s degree in Counseling. Mills feels his role at Clifton Flat  is unique in that the very people that he ministers to were the ones who used to teach and minister him when younger.

Mills is a self-described people person and enjoys working with the public. He feels that God has called him to help people in whatever way he can. Besides his professional career, he also enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He also enjoys music of all kinds, and has a big sweet tooth.

Special music will be provided by the fifth grade children’s choir from St. Vitus Catholic School.

Reservations are requested but are not required. Call 724.658.4766 to RSVP.
