New Castle, Pa., Oct. 23, 2009- Are you interested in experiencing the New Castle Community YMCA for a day? Through Nov. 15, you can get a guest pass to tour the YMCA and try fitness classes for free.
Member Services Coordinator Dorice Shover said, "Now is the perfect time to join the YMCA. You belong to a community that supports you and your family's pursuit of health and well-being. We're reaching out to all health seekers so they can adopt a healthier lifestyle: spirit, mind, body."
Members of the New Castle Community YMCA are tagging their friends, coworkers and family members with guest passes on and offline through Nov. 15 for the YMCA's membership drive. Guests who join during this promotion pay no joiner fee, a savings up to $100.
"For existing members, the member drive gives them an opportunity to share with friends and welcome them into this community. For new members, the YMCA is a place to foster new relationships in a safe, welcoming environment," Shover said.
Visit www.ncymca.org or www.twitter.com/NewCastleYMCA to access and print a free pass. Then bring it to the YMCA Downtown or Y-Zone to begin your trial.
During the membership drive, the community can come to the YMCA Downtown for Friday night swimming at 7:30 p.m. The pool will be open on Oct. 23; 30 and Nov. 6, 13 and 20. There will also be a Halloween family night on Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m.
Membership options at the New Castle Community YMCA include youth memberships, student memberships, basic and adult plus memberships, SilverSneakers® memberships and basic and family plus memberships. All memberships include the wellness and weight training centers, all fitness classes, open/recreation gym and much more. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
