Little Chefs - Family Cooking Class

Join Chef Tim every Tuesday evening at the YMCA for our new family cooking class. We will meet every week at the downtown YMCA to combine ingredients and stir up some magic together. We will make many of the foods we enjoy every week with a touch of healthy. Please join us for what promises to be a great learning experience and lots of fun for kids or the entire family.

Family Nights

Bring your entire family for a variety of activities including movies, swimming, sports, snacks, and maybe even some prizes. Family night will be held every Friday night at the Downtown YMCA. *Prices below are for the entire family.

Drop-In Child Watch

Drop-In Child Watch is a benefit to members:

Drop-In Child Watch is just one advantage of being a New Castle Community YMCA member. Parents of children from 6 months to 8 years old can leave their children at the center, located in the church across from the Y, while they work out. This is free to those who have a Family Membership, and only $1 per hour per child for individual Adult members.

The Child Watch Center is a warm and welcoming place for young children, staffed by competent, caring individuals who have passion for children.

Junior Artists

The YMCA is implementing a brand new art program for children. This is a great program for your child if they are looking for a creative outlet to explore their artistic side in creating new and exciting art works. The class will involve a variety of different artistic techniques taught by a qualified instructor. Join us and express yourself!!

Open Dek Hockey Rink Time

The dek hockey rink is open every Tuesday at 5 p.m. for drop-in skating for children and families. Anyone ages 6 and up aspiring to play roller hockey or simply to learn to skate come join us for an hour of open dek time. This program will be canceled in the event of inclement weather.
